There is no official waiting period under current Florida law. However, the State has recently been sending out approval emails to patients as quickly as 10 days. You do not need your physical card to get your first recommendation, only the approval email. Once you receive your approval email you are able to get your recommended prescription. Call Medcan Staff and let them know of your approval so that they can input your recommendation, allowing you to then pick up your medicine at a Florida dispensary of your choice.
